"really putting on a great display showing that power is not really necessary in this kind of event. The guys in the big beasties sounded and looked great but not a match for the 4 cylinder jap mobiles"

How can you compare 30-40 year old rear drive V8s with a (4 cylinder) turbocharged all wheel drive WRX with around 200kws of power?.....  :logic:    it was a fun day not a competition

That's okay , there should be a OPSM store near you , they should be able to fix your vision impairment.

:fantastic:  Is all I can say about our skid pan day.

Sorry to hear Les could not make it  hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks to Owen for turning up early with the coffee and tea it was greatly appreciated :agree:

 To Hev for getting the ball rolling, Luke, Maureen and Garry on the HOT plate thanks for your

efforts in making the day a great success.  :exact:

As for Leanne and Emma being the best on the day, I think having an all wheel drive on the day was

to their advantage.

Hope you all had as much fun as I did  :exact:

What a great day pitty about the heat,,,Stay tuned for a cooler date for next year..:drink:

We have over 450 pics to to go through, and low and behold there is a fair amount of sideways in a lot of them:xmas:

Was great to see the girls have a great go,Leanne had done it before so cruised it in,Leslee and Emma both very nervous, but they both improved with each go,Emma by 2pm was looking the goods and chasing the handbrake turns well, although we all thought the wall was getting a kiss on her last run in reverse. It was James's doing not Emmas.

Hopfully the few that got a quick run at lunch will return next time for a full day,I know Liz will be.:boxing:

Thanks to Owen for bringing the esky with drinks and the kettle,Hev also for the drinks and quickshade,Maureen for organising the feast for all, then cooking the BBQ with Garry.

Thanks Hev for kicking it off.

And everyone coming along and chipping in .

See you all next time.

You guys have pretty much said it all - great day, great feed, great club! Ironically, my front tyres are more worn than my rear ones!

I have lots of short (1 min videos). If anyone wants some of their car (I don't have footage of everyone's) email me at marc@liberty.net.au with details of your car and I'll send to you.
