Yeah, but you're talking about 2 different animals.  Dave's car is a 1989 model, 20th anniverary Trans Am.  It has a turbo charged Buick V6 and is a genuine 150 mph car in stock trim.

150mph, I can do that in 1st gear!

Firstly, BS.:bats:

Secondly, considering the amount of coin you've spent on that engine, it should do 150 in first gear.:pat:

Thirdly, this was a car that anyone could order - it's all 'factory' and it was 1989. :exact:

Fourthly..... If anyone had my phone number in 1989....I could have built him an engine that could have done 150mph in first gear in any car. It would have been a very wide engine with spark plugs going through in the middle of the rocker covers though. ( I am talking HEMI in case you are wondering ).:zip:

Hi guys, I have always been a fan of the 1968 chargers, but I have never seen one with RHD, and lately they have gone out of my price range the one colour I really liked was a metallic midnight blue with silver stripes across the back. Yeah the general is nice, but getting a little too common for me. but the trans ams are becoming cheaper, so I can afford one soon, and all the help I am getting, it may come sooner than I originally expected.

Surely you don't actually want a car converted to RHD do you??  LHD is (in my view) the only way to go these days.  I've been in the hobby for 30 years and I haven't seen a decent RHD conversion yet.

Whilst I'd never say never, I seriously doubt that I'd ever buy a converted car again.  They're just not worth the headache and driving around LHD isn't particularly difficult, even for a daily driver.
