1971 Chevelle rear indicators
« on: October 29, 2013, 09:57:50 AM »
I have a 1971 Chevelle, the one with the 4 round lenses in the rear bumper, i am working towards full NSW rego. Does anyone have any suggestions about a nice way to get orange rear indicators without butchering the tail light lenses?
any pictures of what others have done could help too. Thanks in advance. Oldskool.

You can leave the red blinkers in place.  Amber blinkers are not required until 1973.  If your blue slip guy wants to argue the point, tell him to look up the rules.  There's a lot of blue slip guys out there who don't bother to look up what's required for specific years...
