New RHS Mustang Story on 9 today

DYN.. 166 countries are RHD .. 74 are LHD...

IMO..probably it could be argued.. its would be safer.. if our nation used LHD still on the side we drive on the road.... so the .. as drivers get out. of a car..they are alighting on the footpath 99% of the time.... rather then exposing themselves to passing traffic .. especially in our increasingly narrow road network..also head ons heavily impact on the RHS of opposing drivers cabins ...
   That's just a couple of things I'd change if Roads Minister... besides registering push bike riders who ride on major suburban roads or highways...and having them wear license numbers& have insurance against hitting YOUR KIDS or your wife or ANYBODY ..or anything..... and restrict the type & times of bike use on vehicle roadways....
   Maybe create a national Footpath Building program in every street so mums & kids can don't have to walk on rough dirt paths. there are streets about over 100 years old and still not safe footpaths....and help reduce the aged & veterans who constantly risk trips & falls ..  Cut out B.S. use of tax payers money by politicians and there cronies .. ALL PUBLIC Servants.. in travel rorts.. and last but not least.. reduce ALL taxes and excise   on LPG - promote a cleaner environment and the  economic stimulation lowering everybody's transport costs would bring...

Unfortunatly 95% of Autralians have been brainwashed into thinking LHD is dangerous. they need to be re-educated but with our education system we havent got hope!  :cry:
