Hi,
Janice and I joined a few months ago. We have enjoyed the runs we have been on.
I have a Red 1969 Chrysler Newport Convertible. 383 V8 with torqueflite. Took it to All American Day, Also have a 1972 Dodge Challenger 340 4 speed. Just got it running again and now looking for paint. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have been to one shop that has a good reputation but there is a 4 month wait to do the job. The car is yellow has a little bit of rust under the vinyl roof but is generally in good condition.
Regards
John

G'day John and welcome,
Mopar or no car. I like your taste in cars. I have a '70  Challenger R/T clone, 426 Hemi, Tremec 5 speed. It's a beast. It has done 185 miles on the clock since I have finished restoring it 6 years ago. I know what you are thinking.....what a waste. Just not enough hours in a day. It gets started occassionally, at least everything still brand new.
Come past my workshop one day to have a chat. I look after a lot of our members cars.
Cheers, Chris.

Hi John  :hi:

I know that Birdman can probably recommend to you who painted his Mustang, but once again I'd say there'd be a waiting period  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Welcome to the forum and thanks for joining our club.  Lovely to see you and Janice at our meetings  :exactly:

Same.. My guy would have a waiting list too! (Fairy meadow) and also know one near Liverpool. There isnt many good classic car builders/fixers out there anymore, hence the waiting lists
