Post by: 69DirtyRat on May 04, 2011, 09:05:38 PM
Hey Chris, how many studs is still safe to drive? I have 1 snapped and I think 1 bent on one side and 1 bent on the other?
Yes its time to get 1/2in studs, its the only thing I havent upgraded to!
.....and yes I had fun breaking them!

Put some ford studs in.  You will never brake those.:agree:

Hi Andy,
In that beast of yours I would have 10 studs on each wheel to keep it on the road safely.
If you have broken one and bent some others there is a chance that every one of them damaged already. Get it fixed as soon as possible or you will risk of loosing a wheel or two. I would be reluctant to even move it out of the shed on it's own power.

Fords have half inch studs fitted from factory. Explaines why lot of them can't spin the wheels because the added weight....:rol:

Cheers, Chris.
