Title: 1998 Pontiac after market stereo and steering wheel controls

Does anyone know if the steering wheel stereo control buttons will work with an after market stereo ? I have a pioneer in my car and the buttons on the steering wheel does not operate the stereo, but is is even possible??

Yes,I'm pretty sure it will work in your car. A mate got his stereo upgraded in his 2001 Statesman,and this guy Brad Feeley in Caringbah/Taren Point,connected it all up so his original steering controls worked. His # is  0423-352859.
