Title: Dash repair specialist?
Post by: silverz on October 19, 2015, 10:42:16 AM
My ’96 Z28 is currently at an electrician/Aircon specialist to rectify longstanding airbox ducting issues. The dash is dismantled for access to faulty valves, airbox repair and replace the fan motor and resistor (from Pontiworld). The dash has suffered UV damage and shrinkage that will cause issues on reassembly. Can anyone recommend a traveling trimmer that specialises in this kind of rejuvenation work on site?
Cheers, Bob.

Thanks for the contact details Andy. Hopefully I might be able to deal with most of the issues myself. Good to have a pro back up and not far from where the Z is in bits. Cheers, Bob.
 :thank:

Silver Z, happy to lend a hand, if you need one. Not sure how much use I can be, but I'm here if you need it.

Thanks for the offer Peter. Will be assessing tomorrow and let you know. I think it will need a specialist in rebuilding UV damaged plastics, fibre mounts and moldings. The rest is going back together no problem and should be finished mid next week.
Cheers Bob.
