Hi.
Wondering if anyone knows where I can get 4 stud bolts that are used on the water pump of my 77 Transam.
They are 5/16" with two separate ends. One side UNC. One UNF.
I've searched Repco, Scotts Auto, Boltmaster, Rocket, Pontiworld site, Spiller Industrial and a general google search.
Noone has them.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

You may be able to get the correct kit from Ames Performance in the US (they do mail by USPS).
A lot of people substitute bolts for the studs. Don't forget to use the two dowl tube locators at the bottom of the cover....without them, you risk balancer seal leaks.
recommendation - cover the studs, or bolts, with a liberal coating of anti-sieze compound. I've had to cut a timing cover off a stud where the cover had corroded to the stud.

Gday Leigh.
I was curious why they didn't just use bolts.
we've been using the anti-seize thanks.
appreciate the heads up with the dowl tube locators.
I'll check out Ames and see if they can help me. Otherwise bolts it is.
