Title: Sunday July 7th Collector Car appreciation Day
Post by: joe74ta on June 10, 2013, 07:48:44 PM: This event is hosted by Micks US Muscle Cars and proudly supported by The AMCCA. Along with the activities listed in the flyer below we ( AMCCA members ) will be doing a sausage sizzle on the day . Please call Joe 0412296615 if you would like to help out with the sausage sizzle. Your help on the day would be much appreciated. For the members that missed the first Collector Car appreciation Day last year this event was a huge success and our event pictures were posted on the official Sema web site in the US with their full endorsement our club also got a mention how cool is that.

Hi Leigh, last year we had around 100 which was a good number for our complex here is the link from last years event so you can see the amount of cars there, they were also parked around the sides of the buildings

to help with our sausage sizzle throughout the day I'm not a great
cook myself so my wife tells me,, cant vacuum or wash dishes correctly
but seem to do everything else very long list.Anyhow the sausage sizzle
is for the club and any profit made on the day will add to what is expected
to be a beaut event.if a loss well we tried we can eat the snags ourselves
So if you can help out on and off of course that would be greatly
appreciated But with all these things the goodwill of the members I'm sure
as always will make this successfull for the club during Micks event.
Weather is looking fantastic so it will be busy on sunday

for sausages and also all the bbq gear gas tables tent. We
had plenty of back up on the tools and seems nobody
didnt enjoy the day some 10 corvettes and a few from nsw
corvettes came along including the c6 zo6 lots of $$

Post by: ozpont on July 08, 2013, 10:24:38 PM: Yvette & Mick .. you guys did a bloody good job to co-ordinate the troops.. have the display cars in place.. the coffee guy. .the band.. the power.. the shelters.. the barriers.. the food.. the BBQ... the bunting and the co-ordination with your working neighbors.. plus the trophies and the time it takes from your work time.... most workers get ripped if they take too long in the dunny these days.. so they can't put the efforts in the may like too...... but this would have taken a lot of care and consideration in many aspects ... and probably in fairness it takes more quiet skill in turning dreams & hopes into reality.. you guys still do this for zip and do it bloody well - not all done in a day or two.. others help yes & helped well..more praise to them too.... but you are the core that in this case made it happen.
