Christmas in July - Goulburn - Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 July 2018

Following a successful Christmas in July last year in Yass, we thought we’d do it again – but this time in Goulburn. 

There are only 28 rooms available to us, so first in best dressed.  All you have to do is call the Lilac City Motor Inn to book your room. 

PRICES:
Standard Queen room $109 per night (standard queen)
Standard Twin Room $119 per night (queen bed + single bed)
1 room family $159 (queen bed + bunk bed + roll away bed charges may apply)
2 room family $165 (queen bed + bunk bed + single bed + fold out lounge charges may apply)

Dinner on Saturday night: $30.00 - set menu (entrée & main or main & dessert) or you can choose from the a la carte menu (prices as per menu)
Hot Breakfast on Sunday morning: price to be confirmed

Hi Guys
I have booked into Christmas in July along with Joe & Calen for 28th July 2018.

We had it good with Gean in Yass booking in,  right up to July and that was ok with Gean?

This is a different situation, they have 28 rooms on offer and we will need them all, so please be early and book in for Saturday 28th July so you don't miss out.

Hi Guys
I have contacted Lilac Motor Inn and spoke to Razi who has informed me that there is still 10 rooms left on Saturday 28th July $119.00

Christmas in July is a fun weekend away and inexpensive as we only have to book one night at the Lilac motor Inn at Goulburn which comes with breakfast, and Goulburn is only a 2 hour drive which is good on the pocket.

We will meet at Pheasants Nest Servo 8.30am and dep at 9.00am which will get us at the Goulburn Train Museum at approximately 10.30am Entry to the train museum is $10 Adults and $6.00 for Children soft drinks $1.00, the tour will be 1 hour and then we will head for Wakefield Park Raceway.

Wakefiedl Park raceway is a race day on the 28th July I have spoken to Matthew who will wave the entry fee on the day for our car club, we will park our Muscle Cars on the grass for show N shine, Matt will speak to the cafe for scon's and coffee at a set price.

We will return to Lilac Motor Inn at 3.00pm for light refreshments which the club will provide please BYO drinks, and dinner will start at 6.00pm cost $30 for a 2 course dinner purchase beer and wine there at the steak house, don't forget to bring a present no more than $10 value with the name Male, Female or Child on the present so you will know which one to take from under the tree, as Santa will be watching.

Sunday after breakfast we will depart Lilac Motor Inn at 10.00am for a drive to Burrawang Village Hotel for a 12.00am  lunch, after lunch we will depart for home, have a great time.

I have just been contacted by Robyn at Wakefield Park, as its a race day Mathew the circuit Manager has asked us to do 2 parade laps when we arrive at Wakefield then we can park our cars on the grass area out the front of the canteen.

We may have a 10 minute wait until the race finishes, Make sure your car is looking the best.

Thank you to Our Amazing,Hard Working Committee for all the organising that goes to put together all the fun things we get to do in our special cars.
Goulburn trip was cold but so much fun,just ask our heater hose  :cry:.. I must Thank Kevin And Cathy and their 5 litres of H2o  :way:
Don't think Lilac Steak House has ever had so many legends at the restaurant or showers at one time  :omg:

Top weekend , with a few dramas but we needed something to look back at and have a good laugh

Yes what a great weekend. The few issues were well surpassed by Wakefield I still haven't wiped the smile off my face. 007 you did the best job organising this event and a big thanks to everyone who contributed.
