Well a small accident on the way to the Pontiac Nats in Shepparton last year turned into a full respray as well as a number of other issues being addressed and a bit of "mission creep" which ended up resulting in a year off the road.
Nearly there finally just a couple of small things still to be done so I look forward to a few runs and catching with / meeting some of the members soon. :thumb:

Jim your car seems to have morphed into a 73 model ?? :toetapping:

Hey Jim, car is looking good! :thumb: Since you are a helicopter pilot you can teach us some helis in some fat car park next time we meet up...... :burnout:
-
Thanks guys yes I had the 73 nose in stock and decided to fit it.
Did the go-whoa at the DECA track in Shepparton, pretty crappy effort but a few "autorotations" afterwards....

Pretty cool Jim but was that the ground effects or the resonation that stopped you from the next circle?...... :bolt:
-
I think it was LTE = loss of tail rotor effectiveness - so I had to reduce my altitude and get back into the ground effect cushion.
