Hey Gazza. Yeah it is but I haven't had a prang. There is a knocking sound coming from the front (feels like a steering component). I've taken it to Chrysler under warranty but they claim I've had an accident (which I haven't) and suggested I take it to a panel beater to check out. I hope FIAT give better service than Chrysler as they have been bloody shocking for the past 2 years...!

Try Heasmans Steering at Sydenham 9557-3739, not cheap but do a really thorough job. I've been going there since 1978, yes 1978!

On the Hway down from the station, under the flight path, can't miss them! Peter looks after the office and Doug in light blue overalls is the wizz kid (not so much of a kid). They have done my Celica since new and have worked on the Muzzy also did smash resurections for the owner of the panel shop (who my son worked for) I bought my muzzy from.

Yeah, Heasmans are great - they did all the steering components on my Val - very happy with the results. Only problem is I'm not 100% sure it is the steering (it sounds like it though). Chrysler recommended a panel beater but I don't have much faith in Chrysler...:D

Knock in the front end? What would panel beaters know? (My son's in the trade). They take it to a suspension specialist. I always say, "would you get a painter to fix the stain on the wall in the toilet when you think there might be a leak in the pipes?????"
