Title: 40's 0r 45's
Post by: Jethro on May 25, 2008, 08:38:52 AM
Hi folks!

Have some 275/40/17 Potenza's fitted on our 1988 C4 The rims are 9.5" and the tyres are getting to the stage that I really need to consider changing. Question is, would I get away with fitting 275/45/17 on these rims without scrubbing? I'd rather go the 45 series just gives me that fuller guard look and more importantly a touch higher!

P.S anyone recently purchased a set at realistic pice be interested to hear some feedback on what you thought of the tyres? seems to be a whole heap on new brands in the market of late.....

Hey Lads, juts a update, bought myself some Nixen  Tires 275/40/17 tires from local tire shop for 200 a piece, ZR rated and dircetional. Done over 1000 klms on them so far, excellent value, great grip and quite to boot! ;12;12;12;12;12;12;12;12
