Sort of an Eleanor clone with a few changes. Pretty serious FE big block, AOD, 4 Link, Coilovers etc. We have done the RHD conversion & the body, panels & kit are done. It is just in epoxy until all the mechanicals, suspension etc have been test fitted. The coil overs in the front are in & the diff turned up yesterday so the 4 link is the next job. I am still hunting a few bits & pieces for the donk & then we can test fit all that to make sure it clears the rack etc. There are a few pics of various stages in my photobucket - Hellanor album. The link is in my sig

My last car was an XY until some p@#$k flogged it last year. I had had it since I was 17 so replacing it with another Falcon would have felt like I was being unfaithful. A Mustang was close enough without being too close, still need to steer from the correct side though.

I think the estimate of the median home cost of $134,000 might be a little optimistic, considering the way things are in the US at the moment.

Check out 69DR's signature.  Me thinks that might answer your question.

We could do our own cruise, my Gal, the GV, the Sub and Peters Caddie.
that would be equal to 8 normal cars or about 20 Hyundai's

I only know it's 19 ft from a show I went to in Temora a few years ago.
They had a prize for longest car.
I thought I better hang around, as I probably had a good chance of winning.
I didn't win.
A Chev C30 truck that had been converted into a cab over style 'mini' prime mover won.  He only pipped me by 6 inches.
Graciously, I didn't say anything, even though the trophy said "longest CAR", not truck.

If you offload your Firebird with the Falcon drawing on the bonnet you could almost have a deposit for an early Stang Project car. Maybe enough for a runner Mustang II. Now that would be special.

Seriously when I was a kid I loved Firebirds (hadnt seen the heavenly blue light then) Have you got a photobucket with any pics of it?

So, what you're saying is, Mustangs are vastly overpriced.
