Title: just returned from a mini cruise

took my 98 firebird on a mini-cruise, yesterday and returning today.

Sydney to Canberra, Canberra to Kiama, quick visit to Dave and then home. I managed 303 Miles out of a tank of gas, not too shabby.

The Illawarra Rd from the Hume down to Kiama is magic!

What really impressed me was coming up the hills from Wollongong, no effort at all in that car. Engine sitting below 2000 RPM in 4th gear at 80km/hr... incredible!
