Title: My '79 W72 WS6 Trans Am
Post by: Kath on July 20, 2016, 04:57:41 AM
:omg:  I couldn't believe when I found this gorgeous '79 W72 WS6!!!! Not only had I found my dream Trans Am, but to find this model - the last of the great Trans Am's. All original (except the exceptional quality RHD conversion) and less than 10,000 original miles. She is immaculate and looks great in her new plates. I had to beat two other buyers, including one from NZ, so I bought sight unseen - I used VIP who were very good and inspected the car, did the secure handover of the money and organised transport by CEVA. It really was Christmas in July!

Thanks everyone! Really appreciate your support and making me feel welcome. I used to show my ute for a long time so it is great to be part of it all again.
She is up on stands at the moment, which isn't nice to see. The wheels were taken yesterday to be professionally restored, shined and clear coated.
Then I need a new stereo fitted, which will go in the glove box as the old radio is staying right where it belongs.
Trying to get her all ready for the Cruiz-In up to the Hunter Valley Gardens in September, hope to see some of you there - and fingers crossed my new Trans Am jacket arrives from the US in time.
Cheers
