Thanks for that Vanessa, being an authorised examiner I am always the last to know these changes...(thanks RMS)...
I guess I will be busy for the next few months issuing blue slips.
Anyone want to transfer to this scheme don't forget I am available to issue your safety check, id check and design check which will be required.
Cheers, Chris.

Im confused a little, so does that mean i have to be classed as an unregistered car to get the CVS first? or can I just get a pink slip plus the form to get it? cause why would I have to get a blue slip if the car is road registered already? :bats:

Read the guidelines carefully. They now allow modified vehicles over 30 years old to get on the scheme. The reason for the blue slip is to make sure all modified vehicles comply with relevant ADR's as per date of manufacture. If modified beyond ADR"s then engineers report required and it's up to the blue slip inspector to make sure everything is complied with.
I am gonna be rich......

But theres hardly any engineers around anymore? could take monthes to get an appointment plus the $1000's of dollars to get the report then have to get blue slip! Big dollars! Bloody hell! I suppose its the same as paying rego/greenslip for one year! As usual everything has gone up again, my Vette rego/greenslip is a ridicules $1137! :banghead:

Hi All :hi:
I'd say a lot of the issues/questions/confusion will be somewhat sorted at our meeting this Tuesday night.
Glenn and Owen attended the CVS forum last Saturday.
More information will be provided when it comes to hand to clear things up.
:thank: Ness

...... And as of today the NSW Roads Minister, who has been a huge advocate of this system getting off the ground, has been removed from his role.... :omg:
