Title: Any knowledgable 4.6 engine experts?

I've bought an 03 Explorer with a 4.6V8, is it a detuned version of the mustang motor? and the same as F150/Expedition 4.6?? Because its hard to find "Go Fast" stuff for the later explorers! Because I eventually what to put a supercharger on her! But they dont make a specific supercharger for that model but they do for F150s 4.6 versions etc. Anyone know stuff about this????
