Post by: MuscleVette on October 01, 2008, 04:10:26 PM: Hi guys this will be our 3rd display day at Darling Harbour our display will be outside of the Convention centre a great location to display your car & promote our club. Set up time is between 8am & 9am no later we can start leaving around 3pm We have room for 40 cars you must bring a drip tray or a piece of carpet to put under your car this is the rules from Darling Harbour even if your car doesn't drip oil. So this gives you plenty of time to see the motor show or go into the city & do a bit of shopping or go to Paddy's Markets. I really need to know who is coming so as we don't get more than 40 cars.

Thanks Garry,

Because I haven't been to one of these before I guess I'm just concerned that people can crawl all over the cars unmanaged. How do we supervise the event?

A lot of people will rope there car off & most people just park them i don't think we have had any problems with damage you will find some of the asians want to sit in your car & have their photo taken. I rope mine off it is just easier.

Post by: MuscleVette on October 15, 2008, 05:36:56 PM: Hello everyone well it is this Sunday 19th October you enter where the taxis & hire cars drop of the people for the convention centre, you must be at Darling Harbour between 8am & 9am for set up DON'T FORGET YOUR DRIP TRAY OR PIECE OF CARPET OR CARDBOARD to put under your car it's the rules. People from the west are meeting at the Maccas twin servo at Eastern Creek east bound at 7.30am leaving at 7.45am. Southern guys that want to come in with me I am meeting some guys at the old toll gates on the F6 at 6.30am leaving at 6.45am or just make your own way in a little later. This is a great day so looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Once again thanks to everyone on the day.

When you email us keep your pictures no smaller than 640x480 to keep the quality and we prefer no bigger than 1024 x 768 please.
