Title: April 11 Vabys @ Picton for Dinner
Post by: GTA390 on April 06, 2009, 07:29:27 PM: Me and the missus went for a drive the other week to Picton for lunch.
To a place called Vabys.
I think there is a few of them around, it was a nice place for a Sunday run and the food was good to, plenty of parking.
We could meet at Cobbitty Wines (Cognos) and do the scenic drive and come in the back of Picton.
Anyone from Penrith/Mountains could pick up on Silverdale Rd.
Just thought i would put it out there.

Exact numbers have to be confirmed with Varby Saturday morning so please either post here or contact Maureen (Her 69) if your coming.

Vaby's is also trying to organise parking spots for the cars so they are in plain view.

I reackon meet at Cobbitty winery at 5.00, leave 5.10.
Others can met anywhere together and make there way to Cobbitty, as you have to go past there to drive out the back.
(Yes Chris it's the bush, no servos or 24 hour shops);x

For those who don't know where Cobbitty winery is, it's almost at the end of Cobbitty Rd near Werombi Rd.

There is off street parking or in the railway station parking lot of which the restaurant overlooks. I suggest that we target the station parking.

Did anyone notice if they sell cakes and stuff like that just for an arvo/evening coffee?
