Title: Colour ideas
Post by: GTA390 on September 15, 2009, 04:38:02 PM
I need help with colour selection, the Galaxies ready to paint the bits that dont get seen to easy but i am still confused for which colour. Has anyone seen any good colours lately.
My wife said she saw a new Commodore the other day in a bright blue, i have found out it's called Voodoo Blue, so i will drop in to a Holden dealer tomorrow (don't think i have ever been to a Holden dealer) (i'll fumigate myself when i walk out;x)
I thought i have had the colour picked a few times but then change my mind.
I suppose i could drive it around in Green Valley Racing Grey;x;x
David.

Picking a colour is the hardest thing I have had to do.

My 57 Ponti is at that stage at the moment......and I've been racking my brains.

I need to flip through some colour books at a panel shop.
A nice blue sounds good for your Galaxie.

So when Greg's 57 is finished, the colour will be called 'Rack of Brain'.;12

I was thinking 2 tone except the body lines dip and stop at the door front and back, so you dont get a distinct line to follow, you would have to make up the gap and i think it may look at bit dicky.

I think it can be a matter of googling the model and looking at pictures of other cars the same model until you see a combination you like.

Can't seem to get a pic to load.
but i am off to the panelbeater tomorrow to pick up the inner guards etc that have all been painted and bring them home so that there no chance of getting knocked or scratched.
Got a few pic sent to me while i have been away, she's mostly all black now.
Im nearly as excited as a certain PONY with a new motor;x
