Title: Looks like im off the road again!

Yes Im off the road again, My battery let go last sunday and it spewed ACID all over the engine bay, engine and onto the exterior paint. Yes its a full stripdown of the engine bay, I suppose thats what insurance is for.:pat:

what a PITA, sorry to hear that mate especially after all the hard work you have just put into the engine bay

Thanks Guys, Yes it may be some time before Im behind the wheel again, im told ita a full engine out and bead blast the whole engine bay and more as everthing has tarnish on it.
As if I needed this!

I hadent planned anything between now and going away and when I got back I was going to put the new donk in so its all going to happen for sure now.

Yea your right Dave I will take your advice as from this day Im on holidays!.....and call me when..........:zip: its fixed.

Anyhow As disappointing as it is and I didnt need it to happen like this ! It did and im glad  im insured! :logic:

The new donk is waiting for the valve springs, the ones that came with the heads are all over the place and a number of retainers were broken and they also came with the heads they will be about 2 more weeks, then I mite or mighten get it before crissy, It can wait till the end of january!
