Post by: MuscleVette on May 09, 2007, 10:17:34 PM: Hi our club has just been invited to the Shannons Eastern Creek day 0n the 26 August 2007. This is a great day out with over 1500 cars on display we will have a supervised parade around the circuit as well. We have been allocated up to 50 tickets at a cost of $10 each so if you are interested in going just let me know at one of our many runs.

Maybe a good meeting place for those of us coming from the south would be the service station on Cowpasture Rd, i think it's a 7-11 or something like that, its next to Hoxton Pk airport.
From there it's only a few K to Eastern Ck,
Any thoughts?

Garry.. don't you mean your meeting at 7 AM.. not PM...??

Woodward Cruise in Detroit last saturday... now in its 13th year..... no end in sight..... 40,000- 60,000 collector/hotrod/custom cars... and pickups... and trikes.. and army ducks and apv's & custom cop cars.. even low loads carrying out of ground swimming pools with people floating in them as they cruised......
1.5 to 1.7 million visitors.....

.. .and we can't get our people here to see an economic benefit to do something like this locally............!!

Another great day well done, the grassy Knowel was excellent, and 2 laps of the track 1 in the cars and 1 in the big red bus :)
