What, all at once on the skid pan?? I'd pay to see that!:fingers:
I'd pay to see you on there in the barge
I did it for free nearly every day for 3 years as a driver training instructor at the police academy. Those police cars sure took a beating.
Besides, after driving it to Adelaide next month, the barge mightn't have much life left in it.
Yesterday, I gave it it's 23rd service since I've owned it - one every 5,000 miles.
Bumblebee x 2 please!

I will have 4 thanks, I will give you the money next meeting. Cheers Hev
Hev just so I have it clear thats 4 extra making 6 in total.?
We have another...
Getting in real early for the non navigational drivers,we will be meeting at the Macca's on the east bound lanes,so if you live in Maroubra and drive a 68 red convertible Mustang thats the lanes that take you to the City from Penrith,Take the M5-M7 turn right onto the M4 so your looking into the sun.You should find us.:rol::gotya:
List of drivers has been updated in the first post.
We have let our seond date go,so we will, if we fill this then run a reserve list,if a spot becomes availbale then its who ever has posted earliest who gets first dibs.
Thanks.
Ok couple of questions, is it $150 per car or per person?? and also does the car need have rego on it? (may have a track car setup by then so just wondering)
Joel it is approx $150 per driver. You can have 4 people drive your car if you want. All 4 will have to pay the $150 Per peron entry fee.
Il Check on the unregoed business as I have a feeling "track car" may need CAMS inspection.
Leave it with me I will suss it out.

Thats with our club members and there friends attending as is the list on the first post of this thread.
We have said money to be paid by April,People can how ever pay when they like but it would be great to get it all sorted in the near future, either at our meetings or on a club run.:thanks:

There are still a few spots available if anyone is interested.
Cheers
My 2 guys won't be coming sorry.
:seeya: Garry :spaghetti::drink:
Ok folks,Can everyone please check that themselves and friends can still attend please.
The track cost is over 3k and was divided by the numbers we had coming wich was 23 we are down to 20 so there are still spots availble.
With the date drawing nearer we need to have an indication.
We have had 3 possibly 4 pull out.
Wich inturn increases the costs to those attending if we cannot refill them.
Matt is attempting to get some fill in's and will see how that goes but I think we will move the payment date well forward to eleviate any problems.
If anyone would like to invite someone please let us know.
Cheers

Silly question...as I am booked in to go....
But what is the skid pan day all about?
Is is a time trial? or a learning experience, a bit of fun???
All 3 ??
All good whatever it is.
I'm just happy to get the car out when I'm not working.
And I think it will be a laugh in the '60.
Greg

Just got home form the skid pan day wow what an awesome day.
thanks to Luke for all your hard work organising the day, also thanks to liz , Hev and maureen for helping with the food.
top job paul,Mal and marion for the awesome job with the bbq.
Now gotta say best take of and circle work has to go to Gas455 what a weapon followed closely by Terrys silver camaro both were very entertaining to watch.
I think by the end my sister wendy still had the fastest time (and the slowest car) in her VRX Lancer.
Overall it was a really good day with alot of awesome people
the only car towed was a VX SS commodore that spat its tailshaft.
we were so lucky the rain just started as we were leaving :fantastic:
Thanks guys for a great day. Lunch was really nice.
It was plenty of fun. Lots of laughs.
Good to meet some new people too.
Would love to go to the next one.
Thanks again.
Greg
What a great day! Thank you Luke and the many others who went to great lengths to put on a feast (cooked by several top Cheffs!) And the cars looked great powering around in different patterns on the skid pan. Luke wins my choice for most changes of dirrection in the one run, Matt and Gas455 for great flamboyance and paul (Heven67) for loaning his car to all and sundry, putting 1,000 klms of wear and tear on his car whilst loosing his gravel tray!
Top day, thanks again.
P.S. Just finished cleaning the car!
What a fantastic day, a big thanks to Luke & Liz for organising a great lunch with lots of variety. Also thanks to all the many people involved in making today a great success.
I think the instructors need a pat on the back just for getting into the cars with a pack of maniacs, who all want to put there cars into as many spins as they can.:agree:
Greg & Terry kept us all entertained with there driving skills:way:
Cheers Maureen & Mal
Great day folks, we should put our hands together for all whom were involved, drivers, spectators, instructors everyone, thanks, maybe we can look at making this into a regular club day, great for gasbaging and a laugh, cause it was certainly fun to watch when the competition started with the stop watch.
Im sure some Video's will come out soon.
Luv Hev
i hope there was vids taken and wheres the  i wanted to get out there to see it but ive come down with the flu

Hi Folks,
Great day out was much better then last year with 45 degrees.
Thanks to everyone that helped with lunch and the clean up.
Think its worth mentioning the girls having a go this year with Lisa,Leanne,Emma,Maureen,Liz & Wendy,With some creative timing and driving making Wendy the quickest in the timing.??
Like most others have said Terry & Greg gave it what for,the fella in the Evo was a joy to watch also.
Catch you all soon.
