SURPRISE !!! Called LSV this morning, $868 to insure my SS for $12000 (their book value is $9000), but wait, there's MORE, because I now have 2 vehicles, my mustang premium has been reduced another $229 bringing its annual premium to $200 for $55,000. Mind you, both cars are limited usage, 2 days per week, and only one vehicle can be on the road at any given time. I do have a daily driver & a motor scooter so how good is that? NO NOT THE MOTOR SCOOTER, right!!!!
-
Please don't take this the wrong way, but how on earth do you arrive at $55,000 as the value of the Mustang??

And, only driven on the 4th of July, during a hail storm in the middle of a stampede of wild elephants and one baby zebra.

Paid $45k when the price was up, at the time it was worth it to me, I knew the owner and my son watched the resto on it in his place of work, that's why I bought it. Shannons & LSV both accepted this value with open arms. Shannons inspected the vehicle at their headquarters, LSV accepted photos. Any classic vehicle is only worth what someone is willing to pay, that "is the value".

Supply and demand, people will pay that for a good one, and there are some good ones around.
Anyway when it comes to insurance premiums the more you want it to be insured for the more you pay in premiums.
Call your insurer and ask them to insure it for double and they will do as you are prepared to pay for.
Anyhow its a Mustang, of course its worh it!:shades:

Thanku Hev, not sayin mine is worth that (to me it is), but that's what it's insured for. This vehicle was a bare metal respray with very very little bog & NO RUST. Better to sleep with the woman you know than one you don't!

Hey CPU, that's what I saw on the real video, musta been drunk?

Hey CPU, that's what I saw on the real video, musta been drunk?
It is taken from the video. I took a screen video capture of part of the video and converted that to an animated gif file and re sized it so it can be posted using "img" tags which will allow him to use it as an Avatar if he wants.
All part of the service supplied by us in the engine room of AMCCA's website/forum :shades:
Anyhow I digress, back to the topic of Shannons.
