What happened Joel, saw your car this morning heading south at Kirrawee??
Damn I knew I should have had it towed last night in the darkness!!
Well I hadn't started her up for about 2 or more weeks and decided last night was the night for a burn so called up some mates and we all gathered and then started driving.
First stop was the maccas as the airport, when I was pulling her into park it stalled on me and after that I just couldn't get it started again.
I spent about an hour in the carpark with some mates going over everything but finally put it down to the carby having issue's. So i called the towie and he took it back to his and dropped it at mine this morning.
Looks like i've got my weekend set out for me now :fantastic:
That sucks! I saw it coming towards me and thought oh no someones broke down, then as it past on the otherside I saw the green P on the back and knew it was yours. You know there are no secrets around here..
hahaha knew I should've taken off the P Plates, then it could have been anyones!!
Oh well, just hope its an easy fix :fingers:

Funny bugger
Force of habbit. Goes back to my old Harley days. Actually it doesn't take much, they are stainless steel.
:hijacked: So any updates on the poor little stang Joel?
Joe I found a full exploded diagram of my carby and so today I fully rebuilt it. Carby works like a charm now but still doesn't start. After pulling my hair out this arvo I had a look at the electrical and found it has a small spark and sometimes nothing at all.
I have left it for now as I think it's about beer o'clock :drink:
Will have a look at the electrical tomorrow and will let you know how I go
If the coil has FoMoCo stamped on it, it's probably time to get a new one.
When I took delivery of the barge in 2002, it had a Delco coil that had exactly the same shade of faded Pontiac blue engine enamel as the rest of the engine - I figured 30 years was long enough for any coil. I replaced it, even though it still worked fine. I've kept it, just in case.
hahaha thanks mate!
If it was the original one it most likely would still be running strong but since it's a replacement it's failed and needs to be replaced.
Should be picking up a new coil tomorrow and will take her for a spin sometime tomorrow evening :fingers:
Good onya Joel....
