Title: looking for a decent mechanic Parramatta

Have a friend that had her 60 k service done at a stealership ...............$2500 Shocked
told her she was mad SO she asked me if i could find her a decent mechanic in the Parramatta area that can be trusted

I'm honestly shocked.  How did they justify it - unless it was a Rolls or a Lambo?

Parramatta is about 30 minutes drive from Padstow in normal traffic. I am sure the extra fuel will be worth it. Trust me!

Holden Astra
60 k service does include a new timing belt .........however she did baulk at the $150 charge they wanted to supply and fit new wipers !

60 k service does include a new timing belt .........however she did baulk at the $150 charge they wanted to supply and fit new wipers !

They wan't $50 just to supply a single wiper for my wifes land rover, one of the wipers was shot but i thought i would get 2 and change both but when the stealer told me $100 just to supply , i was going to fit them , i decided the good one can stay and i got 1 , the problem is they are a special type and you can only get them from the stealers.

sms777 have no problems telling her about you ........may be a little out of the way though as she lives parramatta and works eastern suburbs ! ..............transport may be an issue

yep blades only .and its only a bloody astra !

Looking at the previous charges i do not think i am too far out of way.
Padstow railways station is only up the road from my work and i always offer my custumers the service of drop off and pick up from my closest transportation depo.
