Title: In need of XF steering coupling (rag joint)
Post by: Muzzy 66 on April 29, 2010, 05:02:01 PM
I am chasing the rubber coupling for the top of an Xf steering box,They do make a nolathane repo for it but I really want a rubber one,as it has the fibre mesh through it making it much safer then Nolathane.

Anyone have one on there shelf,in the shed or have any mates that may have or know where to get.

Cheers

Luke

Luke,

https://rsp-secure.com/rarespares/default.asp?car_type=3B&model=XD XE XF

Click on 'steering, suspension and wheels' then go to page 2.

Not cheap, but steering is important.

Thanks Chris

I forgot to mention Ive looked at them and from some accounts the originals are a bit superior to them, but none the less if all else fails they are better then the Nolathane by a mile and ill go that road.

Also can buy the Scott Drake LHD Muzzy ones and retro them onto the XF knuckles Muzzy and XF knuckles are not the same.

Thanks,Cheers.
