Had a look around at the place today, some nice cars, that Sigma has a Holden 308 in it, fully engineered and registered.
Corvette, Camaros, Chevelle, Falcon Gts and heaps of Falcon parts XT-XB etc
Definetly a treasure trove for Falcon restorers...
-
Very hectic, went for a look myself (at the time was the only bald bloke pushing a pram with one in tow)
I agree some real nice stuff for sale....carpark finds were a nice surprise too.
Take a stab in the dark, XAGT and XYGTHO will pass in.
-
Any bids on the pram and the one in tow..:bump:

Maybe they sold a few but the clearance rate of cars restored, un-restored, half restored or junk would have been maybe 5%.. it that tells you anything.

Ozpont, do you know what the Hotrod went for?
-
..nope.. I was not there in time..but heard that only a couple of the earlier vehicles sold and they were the cheaper things.
-
That '84 Camaro even looks crappy in the photo, it must have been a real dunger in the flesh.

We went on Saturday to have a look. If you wanted to go behind the barriers to look in more detail of the cars.... get this...... you had to pay for the privilege. I've never had to do that at any auction before. Needles to say we left.
I would have thought that the HO and GT would have had a better chance at Shannons.
-
I know for a fact that the rod Has an awsome engine, the owner built my latest 347.
I will get all the goss in the next week or so when I see him. LUVHEv

Did that white Vette go for 33K???? That I cant believe, 23k maybe??? or much less!
-
Dont know why the Corvette sold for $33k, i would have thought $25k tops. The Hot Rod was passed in $40k,'66 Chevelle passed in $25k, XA GT passed in $65k, GTHO passed in $350k
Reserves were too high? I thought a lot more parts would have sold, nobody was keen to pay what they wanted for them.
