Quote from: mattlea1 link=topic=3305.msg19871#msg19871................ We have decided we are going to run this feature in Street Fords and a new magazine we are putting together called "American Muscle" which caters for all American brands of cars so once the group shots are done we are going to do some owner profiles etc etc.

Sorry I could not be there, the one who must be obeyed said I had to go to my nephews 3rd birthday party. Trust everyone has a great time and happy cruising
Looked like a private All American Day car show.......Excellent!!!!!
Can't wait to see the pics.
Any pics of the ACTUAL photoshoot can not be posted until AFTER the mag goes to print but I believe general non photo shoot pics can be. That's my understanding but I will stand corrected.
Thanks everyone for turning up on a day when the weather was finally on our side, it was a great turnout with around 60 cars. As you saw these things do not occur within an hour or so and I thank everyone for giving up their time and patience.
I would also like to thank Garry, Joe and Maureen for their organisation and to Luke for arranging the coffee van.
Ok
Just doubled checked with Matt
"photos can be posted we just cant put photos up of once all the cars were together and set up in the cul de sac"
So here a a few from Richard Griffiths
Richards remaining shots are on there way via snail mail on a DVD. We will get them posted later during the week.

Sorry guys one more thankyou and that is to Emma, who did a lot of my running around for me today and helped keep me sane. Champion!
Once again our club members shone as bright as the sun today what a great turn up once again a big thanks to Matt for organising this & running up & down the road Joe for a good parking director with Emma, Maureen for bringing the cake along for the coffee van that Luke organised to those people well done, but the biggest thanks goes to all the members that took time out off their day to turn up to this event because without you we wouldn't have had the display we finished with so from me a big :thanks: to everyone involved.
:seeya: Garry :coffee:
What a great day. Thank you Matt and the committee for a super effort and great patience with us all.
Cup cakes, yum, thank you Maureen, our own private coffee, beauty Luke. Sorry Owen went to so much trouble and forgot his billy!
The committee we so well organised, really great, thank you!!
I'd just like to say thanks to all those people who came and said Hi to my wife and I today at our first club meet. We really appreciated it and meeting all you guys with some of the most amazing cars was terrific. We thought the coffee van was a big plus and watching the guy balance on the ladder on the back of the Ute was a hoot !!!
Hope to see you all again soon.
Cheers
Chris (Evo)

Had a good day. It was great to put faces to forum pictures/names, and also meet new people. Would do it again.
I reckon the most fun part of today was at the end of the day, seeing how many members we could fit in bonnevista's car apparently the record was 9.We managed about 13 people before we ran out of members could have squeezed in a couple more if there was anymore around!! Thanks Chris for letting us, photos should look cool.

So, how do you pronounce that, Mustan girl or Mustang irl??
If it was the latter, Leanne could have her own TV show called 'My name is irl'. Hmm, sounds familiar.

The feature needs to be assigned an issue, written, edited, designed, checked and then sent away to print... It takes quite a while.

Next time any of us are at the news stand, pick up a car mag and have a look at some of the articles that cover certain events. Take note of when the event was and when the mag was published, that'll give an idea of how long it can take to get to print.
Without that magnificent Orange Oldsmobile 442 there would have been only 50 cars there..:coffee:
What a great turn-out & what a good club. Congrats to Matt & everyone who made it happen.
That chocolate cake was excellent Maureen & well done getting the coffee on site.
Looking forward to 4th July at Towradgi. Be nice to get 51 cars there as well.
