Stu, I've probably misread your post (if so, sorry), but the party isn't at the Illawarra yacht club, it's at the Port Kembla Sailing Club, just a bit further around on Northcliffe Dr, just before you get to Berkeley High School (just near the fish n chip shop).

Visit Aish,s just about every week in summer, always wondered what those boat,s with sails on were doing.

Leslee rang the sailing club yesterday afternoon they said you can swim no probs but it is a little bit muddy and rocky on the bottom.

Hey Gaz, I know its very late notice but we are gonna come along as well, if thats o.k. If so there will be 3 of us.
If catering is a problem, dont worry we can sort ourselves out.

We might not make it to either of the meeting points, so dont wait up for us. We will just make our way straight down there.

Thank you so much for the fabous Xmas party, what a great group of people and top fun driving the conga line down to the venue.  Venue was great given the good facilities and water breeze, and the food was only topped by Santa. Thank you so much and well done to all!

I can now pick Lisa up and get the calculator out to work out the newly extended credit card limit!!

At least I had a top day. Thank you all for putting in so much effort.
 

I concur with Bee's comments! Had a great day with a lot of terrific people. Thank you to everybody involved in organising today - Maureen, Gary, the Parking Marshalls' when we arrived (Stu & Joe), Robyn our raffle girl and anyone else that may have escaped me involved in the success of the Xmas Party today.

I would like to say :thanks: to all the members that made the effort & made this one of the biggest & best days our club has held we had well over 120 people. Because if you didn't turn up a few of us would have had a lot of food to eat. My next :thanks: goes to our hard working team  Maureen who took a lot of pressure of my mind making this day the success it was I must have rang her 500 times through the week making sure she had her list of thinks under control next a big :thanks: to Robyn for the great raffle prizes you really have this job under control. Chris :thanks: for suppling all of the xmas toys for the kids,:thanks: Stuart & Nikkei for taking all the rubbish away :thanks: also Joe & Stuart for the great car display, :thanks: our photographers Stuart Richard Joe & CPU for the video that will be posted when edited, :thanks: Paul who supplied the rope for the tug of war & I would like to thank my wife Michelle for making the trifles & xmas cake & putting up with me all week wanting this to be the best day our club could have & really I think it was. Thanks heaps to Garry, Michelle, Maureen and everyone else who helped out before and on the day it was fantastic everyone adults and children has a awesome day and a great turnout. Sorry to the people who couldnt make it this was one not to miss. Thanks also to Chris and Sharon for the bags of goodies for the kids they loved them and kept them happy. :fantastic::cool:

Glad you guys had such a great time .i only wish things were a little better at my end and i could have actually made it to the party !

Well this was our first AMCCA Christmas party and it certainly won't be the last, what a fantastic day! Big thanks to all the committee and helpers who are the BRICKS of the club but Maureen certainly is the MORTAR. Thanks Maureen (and she pours a great bubbly).
