Looks great.
Awsome! She will look great in my workshop next to all the Mustangs. :rol:
Did anyone tell you that I am an expert in cutting holes in bonnets? :rub:
Oh no, not Mustangs... Don't park it next to Mustangs...
I've been thinking about Duster/Dart snorkel scoop actually. Want to keep it as original as possible though... So I take it I need to be careful getting my Duster anywhere near you with a plasma cutter or an oxy? :bats:
Plasma cutter?.....I can't afford sophisticated tools like that!
Chisel and hammer for me...:rol::rol::rol:

The instructions on the polish bottle did say clay block not clay brick

Awesome plymouth
Thanks heaps! Nearly there with the old girl. Just need to get engine tuned and should be right.. Got a few little things I need to do first like change alternator brackets, add temp switch, change tranny pan gasket and ECU module and then ready for tune... I'm bloody hanging to drive it...
Hey Pana!
When are you going to bring that beast over?
I promise I will tie all the Mustangs together in the corner of my shop while I am tuning it....:rol:
Is that Duster as in Feather Duster? :zip:

Don't laugh mate as there was a really late model of the Plymouth Duster called a 'Feather Duster' and 'Gold Duster'.. Too much Cheech and Chong in the 70's I reckon...

Hey Mate, quick question as well. I've got Sure Grip Centre I want to get put into the car. My diff is an 8.25 10 Bolt Chrysler and I've had new 3.55:1 gears put in and all new bearings etc.. Just need to get the Sure Grip put in. Can you recommend anyone to install and set backlash??

I use Sydney Competition Warehouse, ph: 9891 5088. Talk to James, he has done a few Mopar diffs for us, his work is excellent and cheap.
It should be an 8.75 not an 8.25. If it is then you can just pull the axles out and pop the whole center out like a Ford 9 inch.
I am happy to do it for you if you do not want to get dirty. :rub:
Cheers, Chris.

Hey Chris, nah, it's an 8 1/4.. Some of the small block Duster's and Dart's had 7 1/4 and 8 1/4 differentials. The 8.25 as my Duster has is a pretty decent diff and can take a bit of punishment...

Yeah, but the job itself can be stressful and working some silly hours and lots of travelling. I suppose every job has it's pro's and con's.. I've been there 10 years so something must be good about it...

Had the pleasure of meeting Big Bad Chris today and looks like he will have another Mopar in his shed in a couple of weeks. Might help him and keep him from going insane with all of those Muzzie's in there... :logic:
Thanks Pana, it has been a pleasure meeting you too....
Guess what turned up on a tilt tray 30 minutes after you left....
Another Mustang!
Fresh out of the shipping container, still registered in CA, quiet nice though, should not give us too much grief.
They must be running out of Mustangs in the US soon. :rol:
I need your Mopar in the shop to give them a fright.

It is an electrical nightmare. As usual with owner modified vehicles...:zip: (Disclaimer)(Disclouser)(Dis...whatever).

It's been about a year since I pulled the small block out of it... Haven't driven it really since as engine took a fair while to be done and then had to accumulate parts and all the business trips and house move in between... Been hectic!

That's why Chris Sinclair's garage is full of them.:lol:
Like thorough bred horses, one has to pamper one's Mustang. They respond well to care and maintenance. That's my view and I'm sticking to it. Eddie

They're Ford Falcons under the skin.

Not even the wheel bolt pattern is the same as Chevy - in full size cars.
Whereas, Mustangs are actually Ford Falcons under the skin.
BTW, if you're out at a car run one night and you're a bit bored, get the party started by telling a Cadillac guy that his car is just the same as a Chevy.
