Title: Sunday 3rd July American Muscle Car & Bike show at the Towradgi Beach Hotel

this is our 5th year & it is getting bigger & bigger each year.  If you haven't been before you have missed a great day out with great cars & bikes on display.  Car entry is $10 & gold coin entry for the public with all proceeds to the SES.  We will have some great raffle prizes & trophies so why not make a weekend of it, great accommodation available if required

Do they play continuously??  If they do, that means they'll be taking 'no brakes'.

Unfortunately I am rostered to work all that weekend so I can't make it. But good luck with the show, I have posted it up at the CF.org site. My mate Andrew at work is involved from the Wollongong SES side and doing a great job too.

Hi All,

Andrew from Wollongong SES here. Looking forward to a great day and checking out the cars that you are all bringing.

The members of the Wollonong SES unit cannot say thank you enough to you and also to Garry (massive thanks to this bloke for the work he is doing). Fantastic to have this support to assist us in helping out when others need help.

Fingers crossed for the weather,  but reguardless we will be there in numbers enjoying ourselves and appriciating the cars.

Yep there will be 3 Cadillacs a Pontiac Firebird a 65 Mustang and a couple of Harleys coming along we'll be meeting at uncle Leo's crossroads 730 - 800AM Sunday, should be a great day.

Just a reminder for the ones meeting at the Caltex Heathcote.

Meeting there at 7.30am for a 7.45 am departure, meeting up with

more cars at the information centre at the top of Bulli Pass at approx 8.10am

I have done some simple directions to follow, if you get caught at a set of lights etc.

I will hand them out when we meet at the Caltex Heathcote in the morning 7.30am for a 7.45am departure.

:hello: I would like to thank everyone for bringing there cars & bikes to Towradgi today the SES raised $9393.60 & we had over 9000 people come through the gates. I was speaking to Fletch from the TV show who said it was a great car show & should be on Tv in a couple of weeks.

You deserve a massive pat on the back Garry all the hard work you put into this year after year, this event is just getting bigger and bigger each year, the sun was shining once again, heaps of cars and bikes, thousands and thousands of people went through :fantastic: day! An absolutely fantastic day, hats off to Garry and all the crew from AMCCA for a well organised event, I had 25 family members there today and they all complemented the club on their great work and how good their day was. This makes me proud to be associated with a club like this !

What a perfect day....we'd just like to thank a few people - the Committee of the American Muscle Car Club, Frank and Crew from the Fire Brigade who took Barbralea and (our son) Andrew up in the bucket to take the aerial shots , the SES for all their crowd control and gate keeper duties and all the car and motor cycle owners who brought their machines to the venue to raise money for such a worthy cause..... GOOD WORK GUYS!
