Title: what restaurant for sunday lunch
Post by: YellowLightning on October 18, 2007, 05:54:23 PM
Saturday 10th – Sunday11th

This month’s run is an overnighter to Mollymook on the South Coast.  The plan is to meet at the Caltex Service Station Heathcote at 9am and head south at 930am with a number of planned stops on the way. We will arrive at our accommodation in time for some leisure before our Christmas function that evening.  Names of those attending are to be provided by COB 26th October to Steve Fairbrass so that accommodation and the restaurant can be booked. Accommodation will be approx $70-$100 per room (2per room).
The following morning we will depart for Sussex Inlet to meet up with other members of the club that could not make the overnighter.  This will be the Clubs Christmas Party.  Those members who are making the day trip departing on Sunday will meet at the Caltex Service Station at Heathcote at 845 and depart at 9am to arrive at Sussex Inlet at 1230 other members can arrange to meet the main party as they head south.
The Location of the dinner will be confirmed at a later date.

Just a reminder that i need names and numbers for the accomadation by tomorrow,  Accommadation is getting tight at Mollymook. This is going to be a great weekend in the tradition of our Club.

Laurie and 83transam  I have you booked, Caltex is on the Highway to the Gong at Heathcote easy to find.

If you find you can not make it, let me know ASAP so i re-allocate the accommadation.;J

If any one has any question give me a call
Steve

Had a great run down to Sussex Inlet, 5 cars left Heathcote, another 3 joined on the way down. All up about 15 cars in total.
The weather was perfect for having the top down & just cruising.
Lunch was enjoyable as always with a great bunch of people, although some that stopped the night before were nursing sore heads, & a few good stories were told over lunch. Can't wait to see the photo's

Cheers Maureen

Jacki and I were part of the Mollymook group and I have to say overnighting there was one of the best weekends we have had for some time. Everything was great, the drive down, the location, the motel, the club we spent most of the night at and most of all the company, we had a great group of people and the lunch on Sunday just topped off a great weekend, I was in bed early last night though.
Steve, you did a great job mate looking forward to the next one.

Laurie and Jacki. :)

We had a great time.;J

The stories that could be told, but due to the disclaimer that we had to sign we can't say too much, there is a photo that may explain this;F

I think the shattered looks on our faces at Sussex was an indication.

Thanks again to all those who made it a night to remember (although there is a rumour that some may have forgotten parts:cool:)

Ps. if a guy called Gilbert tries to join the club don't let him

David.
