Title: Junkyard Rescue 61 Pontiac ...
Post by: ozpont on July 12, 2012, 10:03:54 AM
Heard of a Story up in QLD today of a 70 GTO being rescued from under a home after being holed up since the late 80's.. the car was reunited with the grandson.. of the original owner.. who had been aware of the cars location but could not convince the aging 2nd owner to sell it.. but has.. ... photos shortly... The grandfather (since passed on) brought two at the time.. one was written off in the early 70's.. the other survived.. this one.... strangely too.. the grandson had his grandfathers old key collection.. in amongst it was the key to the GTO.... which came in handy as the seller had long lost it.
 ... photos shortly..

In the meantime.. another interesting find and resto of a rare 61 Pontiac catalina showing up on Hemings this month.. here the link..
