Hi can anyone recommend a transport company to ship my C10 from Sydney to Perth?
I've sold it to a guy in WA and he asked me for recommendations.

Prixcar are probably the best as they include insurance of upto $60,000, be prepared though for a pretty hefty charge, Perth is expensive to start with and then being a truck it will be even more, probably close to $2K as a car is around $1400-1500.

Heck, if the car is drivable, I'll drive it there and fly back, for a fee. No seriously, I've got no work right now, so I'd be happy to do this. It would take 3 days, and would be hellish, but I can do it, if the owner is willing to risk it (I'm a good driver, not a hoon)

Only problem with that Peter it will cost about that for you to drive, eat, sleep and fly back :bolt:

thanks I've got a quote for $1900 inc GST so far from Trade Car Transport, I don't think driving it there and flying back would work out..

Congrats an the sale Russell, I think you owe me one. :smilies: So....what's next?..... A Mopar perhaps?....

It didn't cost much more than that to bring my ute from California ! Is there no sea cargo to Perth ? I'm sure there must be.
Maybe these people are worth a call

I don't know how applicable this is now, but I went the other way when I bought my car from WA 13 years ago.
TNT put it in a container and shipped it on the Indian-Pacific. All I had to do was pick it up from their depot.
