Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a Sydney based repairer to repair and modify the drivers seat frame from my 76 TA. It'll need some springs replaced before I replace the foam and cover (Might have a shot at this myself) but I also want to have an adjustment welded in to allow the seat back to adjust the tilt forward/backward (rather than having my arms shortened to get a comfortable position). I have a vision of a dial on the side of the seat for this adjustment. At the moment, there is only a lever to allow rear access.
Any ideas on who could do the job, maybe if I supplied an old Commodore seat to cut the adjustment out of??

Might lift an adjust mechanism from a wrecked car seat and try fitting that.
Have a yarn to Anthony at Anthony's Auto Upholstery in Ingleburn - 98291105 0404898497.
Anthony has done quite a few classics, musclecars etc....

Thanks Leigh, Just spoke to Anthony. He's rightly pointed out it'll need an engineer to do and approve the work for safety/Insurance purposes. I'll look on..

Might be easier to fit seats out of a later model car.
