Yesterday, I pulled the barge out to drive to Sydney. Whilst I was still in Wollongong, I noticed a lime green 79/80 Firebird Formula that I hadn't seen before.
As I got a little closer, I noticed that it was LHD - as it should be (just my view), but the other thing I noticed was the 'L' plate on the back of the car.
So, good on Dad/Uncle/family friend for giving a youngster a chance to drive something other than a Corolla whilst on the learning curve.
Or maybe there's a new driving school in Wollongong...

I HAD to reply to this one...
Could not agree more with your comments about the possibility of a parent letting their Learner try a LHD car. We did it with Adam (as have others in the Club) & its a great way of broadening their driving skills.
I'd love a dollar for every one of our students (learner drivers) who've asked me if there was a "chance" I'd let them take the Camaro for a run.... :rol: ?... Ummm, sadly... NO
