Title: Christmas in July - Katoomba - Sat 27 & Sun 28 July 2019

This year we are headed to Katoomba for Christmas in July. The past couple of years have been a huge success and so we hope this year will be the same :hatjump:

A more detailed itinerary will be released closer to date, but in the meantime here is a summary:

Saturday 27 July
Meet at designated meeting points from 9.00am (Narellan or Penrith)
Scenic drive to Hawkesbury Heights
Mountain High Pies @ Wentworth Falls for lunch
Hydro Majestic @ Katoomba for a coffee break
Check in to Sky Rider Motel @ Katoomba
2-course baked dinner - BYO alcohol (not a licensed premises)

Sunday 28 July
Check out from motel
From 11.00am drive down through Megalong Valley
Lunch stop @ Megalong Valley Tea Rooms
Head home via the Great Western Highway

What a great weekend the Skyrider Motel gave us, the rooms were clean & warm, the Xmas Dinner last night & breakfast today was delicious, you couldn't

fault the hospitality.

Thanks goes to Denis 007 for organising the accommodation & the runs he took us on & to Jakki for providing the nibblies to go with our "Happy Hour" drinks

Saturday afternoon. If you didn't go you missed out on a fantastic weekend away with great members/friends, AMCCA you have some great people in your club.

With a great bunch of people that attended , not one complaint
from anyone except that it was not long enough
Thanks to all that attended and to Jacki and Maureen
for organising the nibbles also a big thanks to Santa and his
helpers for organising the distribution of Xmas presents
