Very nice rebuild 68 GTO on the "how to" channel on foxtel. Actually just finished watching a 65 mustang fastback restomod on the same channel, classic restoration show.  Great night for TV!

One main stumbling block............. no cable in our area and I am not going to be bothered with satellite.

Besides when would I have time to watch it?  Dont even get to watch free to air TV.  Too busy keeping you lot in line. ;17

What's wrong with satellite?  If you're out of the metro area, like me in the 'Gong, you don't get Foxtel, you get Austar, which is virtually identical, but it's satellite only.  Apart from extremely heavy storms, it's always 100%.

The GTO show was 'Hot Rod TV'.  It's produced by Hot Rod magazine and has something different every week. It's on around 10pm on Thursdays.  From memory the other show is called 'Classic Car Restos' and it's on just before Hot Rod TV.

I would want the added benefit of getting the cable broad band as well which is extremely fast compared to ADSL 2.  You don't get it with satellite.

One day they might decide to run the cable here.  My mates a few blocks away have it in the new estates.

That'll never match the speed and efficiency of dialup internet access - which I'm still on - no really, I'm still on dialup.  :)  All 48K per second - the mind boggles!!

Anyway, cable or satellite, you still don't have pay TV, so you can't watch Hot Rod TV, Classic Car Restos, Cool Tools, etc etc etc!!:(
