Just want to say hi.

I,m new here so go easy on me, I,m good at listening and learning.

I would like to import a 60,s or 70/s car from the states, I,m interested in

early chevelle,coronet,galaxie or ford/chev pickup.

Or something similar modified or restored.

Can I bring a modified vehicle ?
What states offer the best value buying and shipping ?

I,m in Victoria and any information would be a great help.

Thanks and regards Allan

Welcome to the forum Blueoval....I'll leave it to the experts to advise you but keep in mind there are some pretty good cars here in Aus....still who hasn't thought of bringing something in eh?

  G.day Blueoval

And welcome to the club importing a modified vehicle to Aus has become a nightmare and just about impossible now as you will find out, if your after a nice 69 Chevell there's a nice black and white  one on E-bay at the moment for about 38K here in Aus actually its in your state, I think one of our members is also selling one , good luck what ever you decide to do cheers mick

Hi and welcome Blueoval!

Here is the link to the Dotars website regarding Importing Vehicles, there is quite a bit of info there so you should get all your answers there, most importantly the modified vehicles bulletins are there to read also under the Pre 89 Upadates
