manual to auto conversion

Hi, I am currently running a 454 bbc with a muncie 4 speed but would like to convert to an automatic. I would like to know which trans you guys think is better for a street cruiser....a TH400 or a t700r and if anyone knows what is involved in the conversion and how difficult it would be..

Hi rottanbrat i would go with the T700 that is what I run in my Vette 4 speed auto better fuel mileage hopefully with a 454.

deffently with the T700 we just converted my dads vet to a T700 if i could fit a auto in mine thats what i would run
