What the heck am I looking at here? Trucks pulling triple trailers, but to where?

Kroooozer

These are road trains which are usually in outback Australia (like Northern Territory) where they can pull multiple trailers (as long as they don't have to reverse) . They usually carry livestock and can be up to approx 50m (150ft) in length. Some have 4 trailers and they don't stop for anything, especially kangaroos which litter the highways through NT....

I guess its pretty flat country? Wouldnt want to negotiate anything steep & windy with that load!

They are well fed i can assure you that. The best beef comes from Australia and gets exported all over the world.
Some of our cattle properties almost the size of Texas and cattle get mustered by aircraft every week travelling hundreds of miles in search of green. The amount of rainfall we had recently inland Australia will make sure that they will not stay hungry.
Whenever it gets dry the same trucks will transport hundreds of tons of food all over the properties to keep them well fed.
