A mate of mine who works on a massive ranch in the NT has just bought a original white 1970 440cube Slap stick Challenger exactly the same as the movie 'Vanishing Point'. No pix yet, its on its way. Coincidence also that he works out in kakado and the desert, just like in the desert chase scene! What a site in the middle of Australia zooming around the desert roads in a white Challenger!!!!:hangloose:

When I started restoring my Challenger my original idea was to create a Vanishing Point tribute car. Things got out of hands when i bought the Hemi(as always do).
It is good to see someone has the same taste of cars. As far as I know there is only one Challenger in NT, a purple 74 with a 440 sixpack. I saw him cruising on his own every day in January when I spent a few days up there. Never got the chance talking to him, seemed like a lone wolf.
