I'd really be surprised if I would do 170mph like they say.  At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much horsepower you have, it's whether the car can cut through the air.
Of course a '67 Mustang is more aerodynamic than my barge (what isn't), but it's still a '67 Mustang.
