I think you guys have mistaken the smoke for koala farts! Have you even seen a koala fart, it looks just like smoke!!!

Koala fart used to be harmless. Then all the feral koalas got domesticated by aboriginals p#ssing leftover alcohol on gumtrees contaminating all the leaves. That raised the alcohol content of the gum leaves which being the favorite diet of koalas as we know it. The last major bush fire in the Northern Territory caused by a severe backfire of a domestic koala.
