They finally got it going in 1906 at Phillip Island - It looks like the Stig was driving it. LOL.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the Duct Tape.

I remember hearing somewhere that the V8 was almost scrapped completely due to it's inefficiency/size etc...

lucky for us, technology has helped.
