Well, I've got a new project car. Going to sit it in the garage until I get some of my upgrades finished on my T/A.
Its a 1952 Pontiac sedan, it was on Ebay going cheap and I jumped in and got it at what I think is a very good price for a 50's car....and a Pontiac just fits the bill nicely for me. Its a running flat head 6 cylinder.. a Chieftan? I think.
At the moment, I've no idea whether to restore it, or modernise (hot rod) it....guess I'll wait and see what I feel like after I've owned it a bit....although I do have a complete right hand drive converted 79 Trans Am subframe that might work under the 52....hmmmm.

I will have to get over soon and check that out looks like a great project to me. I'm dieing to see how your TA comes out when you drop that 455 in it.

V nice. Lots of late nights in the Garage or are you parking it in the lounge room?
Lowered and custom would be OK but it looks pretty straight so it might be a hard choice.
I'd love to have a close look too.

Yeah, its hard to know what to do....but I'm leaning towards stock mechanical resto, upgrades here and there like 12V electrics / seatbelts etc, nice bright paint and whitewalls with painted steelies, hubcaps and trim rings. Enjoy the car like that and see if I want to go further after its been on the road a while. It all depends how the engine is running when I get it home.
