My muffler is on it's way to god... I've been quoted $400 for a replacement (stainless).
This seems a little expensive?
My other options is to buy one from the US and get it fitted - I can get a new one shipped to my door for $170 AUD. If I do this, I would need someone to fit it, any suggestions? Recommendations?

Sureflo Exhaust, Ingleburn - 4/20 Broadhurst Rd, Ingleburn NSW 2565    9829 3158.

They've done a few cars for me over the years, they've done a range of American cars.

I have also used Sureflo Peter to replace full system on my older '82 Z28 Pace car. A good 'while you wait' service if you book in and at reasonable prices .
Cheers, Bob.

Before you pay for one in from overseas..go visit a few exhaust professionals.. the muffler is not that different to others on the market.

I think I paid less than that for my whole exhaust system...

$165 ex stock.
Surely a custom exhaust system.. that is one pipe from Cat back to the single in muffler  - twin out  can't be more then about $800 / $1000 max.. it's not that bigger job..just many places now depend on computerized preset pipe bending machines.
